This Halloween experience features a 5,000 square foot haunted maze with an interactive scare zone, fear-inducing sensory attraction, bubbling potions, magic shows, and illusionists. Guests can also see exhibits that showcase special effects makeup, live reptiles, and sideshows. Kids can visit the pumpkin patch and trick or treat, plus there is a Halloween themed food court.
Come out for the 4th Annual Halloween Spooktacular at Mariners Park presented by the Newport Beach Recreation & Senior Services Department. There will be live music, a trunk-or-treat area, haunted maze, carnival games, bounce houses, costume contests, food trucks, and fun for the whole family! The event is free to attend. Courtney’s Sandcastle is a magical playground located in the heart of San Clemente with a variety of things to do. The playground is entirely enclosed, which is quite appealing giving us parents that piece of mind knowing our kids are contained. This castle and pirate ship theme playground offers a rock wall to climb, a sensory garden, a cool sculpted tide pool to explore with running water and music instruments to play. Make a splash at San Clemente Aquatics Center. It’s the perfect place to cool down this summer. Both residents and non residents alike can enjoy the splash pad, kiddie pool or the 25 yard activity pool were kids splash and play with their parents. There’s plenty of shade, cabanas, lounge chairs and a few vending machines. Several Life guards on duty and 10 minute safety breaks every hour to check safety equipment.
By the way on your way out stop by Courtney’s Sandcastle (gated park) which is literally next door and spent the afternoon there.

Veterans Sports Park is located on Valencia Avenue, between Tustin Ranch Road and Red Hill Avenue; it is the newest edition to the development of Tustin Legacy. Veterans Sports Park spans over 32 acres, making it the biggest park in the city.

It’s the perfect park for all ages with many recreational options.
Zipline
This 19.5 million dollar park features a splash pad, playground, skate park, softball, football and soccer fields, as well as tennis, racquetball, basketball, volleyball, pickleball courts, grassy fields and South Orange County’s first zipline swing.
Skate Park
A Veteran’s Memorial, standing at the park’s entrance pays tribute to the city’s military history with a seating area and a digital screen with images of local veterans.
Right in the heart of Orange County there’s a new 14 Acre Aqua Park with a giant obstacle course floating on crystal clear drinking water. The water is perfect temperature 74-78 degrees year round and sparkling clean. The depth of water ranges from one to 14 feet deep. Life vest required when playing in the obstacle course, and don’t worry lifeguards on duty at all times.
My family and I recently spend a day at Adventure Lagoon and had so much fun. They have family friendly activities for everyone including a kids area with slides and peddle boats. So come on down and splash, climb, bounce, slide, play volleyball or lounge around in the crystal clear lagoon.
If your an adventurous person grab a kayak or paddle boat and enjoy “Adventure Lagoon” water paradise!!!
When you’re ready to dry off or chill out a bit grab a chair under an umbrella, a cabana inflatable float or simply kick your feet up and relax in the sunshine as you cool off in a water lagoon lounge chair.
