Bebe and Mommy’s Landmark

Daddy is painting a new window trim.  Guess what?  Bebe and Mommy decided to sneak a bit of paint and get crafty!  Yes, We now have our very own Landmark at home!  Daddy even gave us compliments and extra paint to finish off our project!  The best part it was easy and peacy!

There is nothing like having your own Landmark!

All you need is a heart stencil, which is very easy to make. Fold a piece of paper in half, trace half of a heart, cut it, tape it to the floor and paint over it!  Wallah your done!

Lifetime Memories

Our Staycation at the Great Wolf Lodge

We couldn’t wait for Grand Opening Day of course we had to be there to experience all the great fun.  After all it is the first indoor water park resort of any kind in California.

The minute we walked in we were greeted with great smiles the hospitality was wonderful!  The kids couldn’t wait to jump in the water.  However, that wasn’t quite possible.  First we had to check in and honestly it was a mad house, but worth every single minute we stood in line to check-in and get our wristbands. By the way you don’t want to loose your wristbands, without them you won’t be able to use the water park.  There  is a $40 additional charge per wristband if you need to replace it.  Besides they work as your credit card and room key.  You can make any type of purchases throughout the resort with your wristband which was A+ plus to me. Saved me from having to carry my wallet around the resort specially inside the water park.

The water park comes with a wave pool, water slides, lazy river, basket ball court pool, and many other water activities for all ages. There is plenty of non-water activities to do such Bowling, Arcade, Minituare Golf, Magic Quest, Howly Wood X-D Theater  which is a 3D motion simulator ride along with morning and nightly activities to keep the little ones busy.  There is also numerous restaurants on site.  Our favorite one was the Loose Moose were we spent our Saturday morning having breakfast.  They also have a Pizzeria next to the Arcade. However, they sold out on Grand Opening Day.  We didn’t get a chance to sink out teeth into one of them yummy slices.  I have to admit we were all a bit upset.  So while the kids played at the Arcade, Mommy called Pizza Hut!  That sort of took care of the problem.

They also have a few retail shops and Scoops kids spa which happened to be our favorite of all.  With that said we can’t wait to come back for another Staycation and make more lifetime memories.  The best part was waking up the following morning and finding great news delivered under our door.  A letter from Management apologizing for the delay in check in giving us a $150 room credit and a complimentary future night stay!  Great Wolf Lodge really knows how to keep their guest happy.  Did we say we love you Great Wolf Lodge!  The best Staycation experience ever. The kids and I loved it!  Oh and Daddy can’t stop talking about it!  We’ll definitely be back soon!

Fruit Loop Bird Feeder

Valentine’s Day is around the corner, Bebe and I decided to make colorful Heart Bird Feeders.  After all we can snack and craft at the same time.  It’s all about making memories.  We had a blast towards the end.  It was more like a Fruit Loop confetti party!  There was Fruit Loops all over the place.  Bebe was so excited the joy on her face was priceless!  We definitely made lifetime memories.

It was so simple and easy!  Grab a Chenille Stem and Fruit Loops.

Start by forming the heart first.

String the Fruit Loops onto the Chenille Stem.

Once the cereal is strung, bring the bottom together and twist.

Lastly add string or twine to hang the bird feeder.

Enjoy!

Matching Pajamas…

A few days ago I came across a website that sells Glamping Gear.  I fell in love with the Pink Glamping Pajamas.  The best part; they were on sale and they had a matching set for Mommy.

These days it’s all about Bebe and Mommy making memories.  I was so excited I couldn’t wait any longer.  They are colorful and extremely cute for our Spring Glamping getaway.  I immediately knew I had to place my order.

A week has gone by…Guess what? They came in the mail today. Bebe and I are so excited we can’t wait to go Camping.  We are ready to make new lifetime memories waking up to Nature in our cozy cute PJ’s!  Stay tuned for our Glamping Adventure out in the Canyon!

The Big Slides

The big slides at Santiago Park are so much fun! The slides are long and a bit curvy you must come and experience the fun we had. The kids will sure love it and Thank You!  Besides there is so many other things to do. The Park has a Nature Center, Trails and a Creek. Enough to keep them busy and active for hours, they won’t want to leave.

How to make your own Play Dough

Who doesn’t love playing with Play Dough?  We do!!!!  After numerous times going shopping for play dough AKA: Play-Doh we decided to learn how to make our own.  It was fun, cheap and easy. The best part is non-toxic!  Bebe and I had so much fun making play dough we spent most of the evening creating different color batches.

Ingredients:

1 Cup of Flour

1 Cup of Warm Water

1/3 Cup of Salt

2 Tsp Cream of Tartar

Liquid Food Color -A few drops to achieve your color desired

Step 1:

Combine all the ingredients in a pot.
Cook over medium to low heat, stirring pretty constantly for about 5-8 minutes until it all sticks together and starts looking like play-doh. Form a ball and remove it from the pot.
Let the mixture cool off by placing it on wax paper.

Step 2: Knead

Knead your dough until it looks nice and shiny.

Step 3: Play & Store

Play with your play-dough and store it in an air-tight container or ziplock bag. We used ziplock bags with no complaints. It will keep it from getting dry.  You will enjoy your play-dough for months!
